It is claimed that the intern had been in contact with approximately 400 patients but did not complete any surgeries. The fraud was discovered when several doctors the intern was working with became concerned by his performance and decided to check with his university.
One of the qualities employers seek in both their interns and employees is ethics and integrity. These two characteristics are highly valued and are a great addition to a future or current employees references. Although this is a highly unusual situation that most people could not fathom, it brings light to the importance of creating the type of credibility and moral and ethical work values that is highly valued in the workforce. Unfortunately, it doesn't take too much imagination to understand what type of recommendation letter this student will get when applying for jobs in the future.

Organizations interested in developing an internship program, can learn some helpful tips from the How To For Anything website. The site discusses the five steps for starting an internship program and describes each in detail so employers can learn more about what the whole process involves.
If your organization would like to create an internship program for the coming summer, now is an excellent time to begin discussing the process and what developing such a program entails. Since internships provide a win-win situation for both students and employers, creating an internship program can provide many benefits for your company.
